Algarve and Schweppes

Algarve

The advertising tile panels produced by the Aleluia Factory for Schweppes between 1956 and 1965 have withstood the test of time. They are still visible in many places across the Algarve. The tiles feature designs of beach jetties or characteristic architectural elements, such as chimneys, associated with the slogan “Algarve… and Schweppes.” An advertising campaign that became public art.
