Olhão Market

Algarve

To get to know the Algarve, visiting the Municipal Markets of Olhão is a must. The building, divided into two parts, is an example of iron and glass architecture, lined with brick, and decorated inside with tiles by artist Costa Pinheiro.

But the most impressive part is inside, at the Vegetable Market and Fish Market. Variety and quality of seasonal products, freshness, genuineness. Going to the Olhão Markets is a journey into Portuguese culinary culture.
