Just play, a Tradition is Born

Helena e Natália

Algarve

It started as a fun project between two friends but became a tradition. Helena and Natália combined their time and passion and made sweets using Algarve products for the Cacela-a-Velha Church festival.

The success was so great that they never stopped. Now, every evening, we can find them at the churchyard, sharing delicacies made with almonds, carob, figs, and oranges, all prepared with love and wisdom. Their tarts are already famous, and they know this because new customers come with recommendations.

At Octant Praia Verde, we learned from Helena and Natália that the love and longing for those who passed down the recipes are also ingredients that sweeten the soul. They came to make these dishes as they do at home for our guests and visitors.
